WESTERN AUSTRALIA.

O'Grady, the master of the Clarence packet, has been arrested for murdering a Chinaman.

Governor Robinson, it is reported, has offered Mackenzie a grant of £1000 for the Kimberley pearl, found in Lagrange Bay. The judges fix the value at £2000. It goes home by the Bokhara. The pearl is olive-shaped, with a perfect and regular surface, and a beautiful lustre. Several have been found in the same locality valued at from £50 to £250.

It is believed the proposed exhibition will be highly successful.
