AN ITALIAN MOTHER SHIPTON.
Some of the Italian journals, a correspondent at Koine writes, publish a prnphsey littered in the fourteenth century by Leonardo Aretino, according to which the world canrkofc last much longer. This Italian *sother Shipton i ?-ued his pi-ophecy in the fifth volume of hia well-known work. " Aqtiila Volante." According to him the end of all things will occur upon the 15th November. 1881. • he course of destruction ■will last for 15 days; on the Ist day the sea will overflow its boundaries, and on the 2nd will penetrate even to the centre of the earth. On the 3rd day all river creatures, and on the 4th all sea creatures, will perish. On the sth day the birds will die, on the 6th the houses will fall in, on the 7th the "ocks be deft, on the St'i there ;rill be it er«\t oarthqinke, on the 9th all the mountains will full in, on the 10th nil men v,'.' become dumb, on the 11th the graves will bo opptird, on'the Vth it will rain stfi.r», on tho ISt-! , till men will di,\on thi I.lth heaven and psirtb will be burned, and firaliy, on tho ■}stl) wUI fo'liuv the Besurrpction and the Day of Judgment.
