Some of the Italian journals, a correspondent at Koine writes, publish a prnphsey littered in the fourteenth century by Leonardo Aretino, according to which the world canrkofc last much longer. This Italian *sother Shipton i ?-ued his pi-ophecy in the fifth volume of hia well-known work. " Aqtiila Volante." According to him the end of all things will occur upon the 15th November. 1881. • he course of destruction ■will last for 15 days; on the Ist day the sea will overflow its boundaries, and on the 2nd will penetrate even to the centre of the earth.
