PORT AHUEIBI

ARRIVALS. September. 10_Te Anau, s.s., from Melbourne via Southern ports. * Passengers—Miss Henderson, Meadarnes Laws, Morrison, Mowbray and Knowles, Messrs C. Sanders, Innes, Brown, Cottano, Rowe, Cross, and 8 in the steerage.

DEPARTURES. September. 9—Kiwi, s.s., for Wellington viu tk* coast. Passenger —Mr Schwartz. IC—Result, s.s., for Wairoa, with throe passengers.

The s.b. Kiwi, Captain James Campbell, steamed for Wellington via the coast shortly after two o'clock yesterday afternoon, taking one passenger, and a large quantity of hides, pelts, maize, and other cargo. The stestmer Result, Captain W. E. Baxter, left for Wairoa shortly after 12 o'clock last night, taking a good cargo, and three passengers whose names we wero unable to ascertain.

The Union dteatn Ship Company's s.s. Tβ Anau, Capt. Carey, arrived in the roadstead at noon to-day fii>m Soutueru pji'La and Melbourne. The following is a report of her passage:—Left Melbourne on the 31st at 3 p.m. ; clearer! the hear!'? nfc 7.30 p.m.; passed Swan Island on the l«t September at 2 p.m., and after experiencing strong favorable winds arrived at the Bluff on the st'« at 7 a.m. ; left same day at 4 p.m, and arrived at Dunedin on the 6th at 7 a.m. ; left on the 7th at 4 p.m, and arrived at L'ttelton on the Bth at 7 a.m. ; left again same day at 7 p.m., and arrived at Wellington on the 9th ab 10 a.m. ; left at 6.30 p.m. same day, and arrived at Napier as above. Her advertised time of departure for Northern ports is 4 p.m. The steamer Oroti, Alex. Campbell muster, is to sail for Gisborne and Auckland at 3 o'clock this afternoon.
