August. 18—Orpheus, schooner, for Auckland.
Th i topsail schooner Cleopatra, Captain Clarkson, arrived from Lyttelton yesterday, afternoon, and was being towed inside try the s.s. Sir Donald as our report left the Spit. She brings a full cargo of cement consigned to Messrs Kinross and Co. The steamer Maori, Captain H. Anderson, arrived from Wairoa last niglt with a number of passengers. Tho schooner Orpheus, Captain James Dunn, sailed for Auckland at 11 o'clock this morning, with 60 tonß of potatoes. The s.s. Result, Captain Baxter, returned from Wairoa at 11 o'olock last night with a number of passengers. The steamer Oreti, Captain Campbell, is expected to arrive here from Auckland to-morrow, and i 9 advertised to steam for Gisborne and Auckland at 3.30 p.m. The movements of the Union Company's boats this week are as follows •. —The s.s. Albion leaves Wellington on Friday afternoon, and will arrive here on Saturday forenoon, sailing for Northern ports at 4 o'clock in the afternoon. The s.s. Penguin, which was two days late going up the coast, leaveß Auckland at noon on Saturday and ia expected here on Monday next.
