They also guarantee the Shareholders 10 per i cent, for the first 12 mouths, and in addition undertake to carry on the management of the business for that period free of charge. The present Proprietors have an unexpired lease of 32 years at a ground rent of £100 per annum and i the insurance premiums are the only expenses beyond fair wear and tear. The Theatre is in excellont order, having lately been thoroughly repainted and redecorated, and it is acknowledged by all Theatrical Companies to be one of the best appointed Theatres in New Zealand. The income will be derived by the letting of the Theatre, which is readily taken by Theatrical Companies, at the rate of £20 per week. The ordinary nightly rentals are from &4 10s to £610s. and being always paid in advance, is a protection against any loss by bad debts. The advantages of the public will be having the option of reletting to the various local bodies such as the Theatrical Clubs, Public Meetings, Volunteers, Gymnasium, &c, and for Balls and Skating Rink. The expenses are very small, as the Store adjoining the 1 heatre (part of the building) is let to Mr Prebble for £30 per annum, on the agreement that he acts as custodUn, thereby saving any expense in keeping the Thoatre clean. Applications will be considered in the ordor in which they are received. The Share List will close on the 31st August. The administration of all estates of which no disposition has been made by will, whenever relatives do not wish to incur the responsibility of . administration, or cannot from any cause obtain the necessary powers to act. In such cases it is the duty of the Public Trustee to discharge all legal debts so far as the assets extend, and divide the residue • amongst the next of kin; 4. The administration of the estates of lunatics, lunatic patients, and convicts. 5. The charge of lands lying waste and unoccupied of which the owner is unknown, or who has been absent from the colony for ten years, having left no known agent.
