Admiral the Earl of Clanwilliam is now better. The squadron will not however, leave for Auckland before Tuesday next, and its departure may probably be further postponed to allow time for the Bacchante to come on from Melbourne to join. July 25. Two more cases of small-pox are reported to-day. The sufferers liy.? in the vicinity of Sussex-street, where the disease has previously appeared. Two supposed cases of small-pox at Burwood are now proved to te only chicken-pox. Further information tends to confirm the probability of the equadron awaiting the arrival of tbe Bacchante before leaving for Auckland. The Bacchante is now expected to leave Melbourne for Sydney on Wednesday next.
