July 6. Despatches have been received from the commander of the Greek army at the frontier, stating that the Turks have evacuated the town of Arta, and that he has taken possession of that post, and also of Punha on behalf of the Hellenic Government without opposition. Later. The news of the cession of Arta, and of the withdrawal of the Turkish troops, has been received here with great public rejoicing.
