INVERCARGILL.
July 8. Several private persons are active in enrolling names on the new rolls in view of the general election. Since tbe main rolls were issued supplementary rolls bearing two hundred names each have been printed for Wallace and Rtverton. The Invercargill registration office has three hundred names additional. The Town Council last night voted half the expense of the Tararua relief committee. A remark was made by one councillor that the Uuion Company should have paid it.
