ROME.
June 23. Great excitement prevails throughout the country in consequence of the riots which occurred at Marseilles on the 17th and 18th instants, and the numerous arrests of Italian subjects that have since been made by order of the French Government. Anti-French meetings are being held in several French towns and express indignation with the action of the French.
