June. 12—Silver Cloud, three-masted schooner, for Newcastle. Passengers—Messrs Green, Jones, Hitching.?, and Brown.

Hudson, her purser, for the following report : —Left Melbourne on the 31st ultimo; called at Hobart on the 2nd inst., leaving same clay ; arrived at Bluff on the 6th, and left again for Dunedin same day, arriving on the 7th ; left for Lyttelton on the Bth, and arrived on the 9th ; lay there all night, and left for Wellington next day ; arrived there on the lHh, and" left for Napier on Sunday, the 12th, at 11.30 a.m. She brings about 100 tons of general cargo, besides six hriffrs for Mr Harding, and one horse for Mv M. R. Miller. Her cargo will be landed by the lighters .Three Brothers and Admiral at the breastwork to-morrow morning. The steam laurioh Boojum, with the outward passenger?", leaves the wharf at 4 p.m. The topsail schooner which arrived on Saturday turned o\it to be, as we surmised, the topsail schooner Zior, Captain J. Botham, from Dunedin, with a full load of colonial produce. Immediately on arrival she was brought in by the pilot and berthed alongside the breastwork. The three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Cnp'ain E. Halle, left for Newcastle yesterday morning. She wna towed out to Oie rondstead by the launch "Roojum, and as there waa a fresh southerly breeze she soon made a good offing. " he ketch Clara left for Mohnka, on Saturday night, but owing to the strong southerly wind on Pvmdny morning she had to put back. She will leave as soon as a favorable opportunity offers.

The schooner Torea, which left Lyttelfcon for Kaipara on Friday, run in here yesterday, and reports that, during a heavy southerly gale on Saturday night, o- sea brolce on board and washed a seamen named William Lawson overboard. No assistance could be rendered. The deceased was a young man and shipped at Lyttclton some time ago. The brigantine Mary "Bannatyne, bound South from G-reymoutb, also put in, she having sprung a 'leak hy touching on the bar on leaving the Grey.
