DUNEDIN.
June 10,
Four insolvencies were filed this week. The largest is Richard Evans, of Dunedin, whose debts amount to £1,999, and the assets to £2,098. The directors of ihe Permanent Building Society complain that there is Mich an extensive competition of monetary institutions that the Building Society is no longer useful, aud they recommend its convertion into a loan company.
