PORT AHURIRI,

The e.s. Kiwi, Captain James Caittptell, is to leave for Wellington at 3 o'clock this afternoon, taking about 40 tons of maize and 3 tuns of whale oil. Tho three-masted schooner Silver Cloud, Captain Ballo, has ballasted, and is now taking in a pnantit.y of potatoes for Newcastle, and -will probably get away tomorrow. The s.s. Eesult, Captain W. E. Baxter, leaves for Wairoa at 8 o'clock to-morrow morning, weather permitting, with a full load of timber and etores. The cutter Clara, D. '-erney master, is now loaded up for Mohaka, and is expected to pet away to-night. The steamer Maori is expected to get away for Mohaka and Wairoa to-night.

The Union Company's s.n. Ringnrooma, Capt. Chatfield, was to have left Auckland about midday to-day, and will arrive here at daylight on Saturday morning, sailing for Southern ports and Melbourne at 11 a.m. Tho s.s. Rotomahana, from Melbourne and Hobart, is expected to leave Wellington for here to-morrow afternoon, and is due about 10 o'clock on Saturday morning, sailing for Northern ports and Sydney at 4 p.m.

The cutter Jane has arrived at Eiverfcon, bringing news that tho missing cutter Hannah is a total wreck in Broad Bay, Stewart's Island. Roger (the owner) and Ned Clark were both taken off safely, after suffering considerable hardship. The Hannah, it appears, missed stays and was beached.
