QUEENSLAND.
One of the French escapees who recently landed at Point Look-out has escaped from St. Helena, where he was confined for six months for vagrancy while waiting identification. The trans-continental survey party arrived at Loraine, on the Leichardt river, two hundred miles from Point Parker, on the 21st, and hope to reach Parker on the 30th.
Parliament is further prorogued to the 7th June.
