There was a good attendance at the Christchurch autumn meeting, although the day was chilly, with an occasional shower in the morning, but the afternoon was warmer. The Duke of Manchester was present. There was no totalizator in the paddock in consequence of the threatened legal proceedings, but one was erected outside.
