TIMARU.

March 21

At the Police Court this morning William Gardener, who was cook at Hamilton's boarding-house in the year 1877, was charged with the robbery of property valued at £4. Tbe accused returned to Timaru on Saturday last, and was immediately recognised by Detective Darby. He was remanded till Wednesday. He denies the charge.
