MELBOURNE,
March 19. The cricket match between the Australian eleven and Tictoria was resumed today. The fifteen were all disposed of in their second innings for 296 runs, McShane contributing 64, and Kelly and Allen 41 each. The Australians require 248 runs to make in their second innings to win the match. Alarch 21. The following further Exhibition awards aie announced:—First order of merit: A. and T. Burt, of Dunedin, for gasoliers; Captain Henry Bush, Thames, for kauri gum ; Mrß C. C. Armstrong, for collection of Victorian wild flowers and New Zealand ferns in natural colors. _ bird order of merit: Barninghara and Co., Dunedin, for cooking and heating range. Fourth order of merit: Thomas Atkinson, Christchurch, for cooking range. Obituary.—Mr J. Storey, member for North Melbourne in the Legislative Assembly.
