A severe storm has been experienced in Hobson's Bay, and a whaleboat, containing three men, who were inspecting the lighthouse, is missing. It is feared that they have been wrecked in the gale. March 10. The whaleboat containing the three men, which it was feared had been lost in yesterday's storm, arrived in the bay all safe last night. In the Legislative Assembly last night, the debate on Murray Smith's motion for a conference of the two Houses on the Reform Bill waa concluded, and on a division being taken the proposal was rejected by 40 to 33. Mr Grabes, Sir John O'Shannessey, and Sir Bryan O'Loughlin voted with the minority.
