March 7. The Governor has accepted the invitation to open the Ashburton industrial exhibition. The funeral cortege of the late Sir Cracroft Wilson on Saturday afternoon was considerably over a mile long. The funeral service was conducted by the Primate, assisted by the Revs. Watt and Bawon. Several Dunedin representatives attended the bicyle sports on Saturday, but only won one event, the one hundred yards.
