February 22. Galvanised iron is quoted at £28, and guage at £17 per ton. At the wool sale to-day 6GOO bales were catalogued. The tone of the sale was rather firmer for low qualities. Dr. McCabe, Roman Catholic Archbishop of Dublin, has issued a letter in which he stigmatises the alliance between Mr Parnell and Mr Eochfort as impious, and adds that the Catholic party can feel no confidence in Mr Parnell. February 23. The Daily News to-day publishes information to the effect that the magazine at Cork has been broken into, and that a large quantity of gnnpowder has been taken away.
