TIMARU.
February 14. John Quinn, alias Nolan, has been arrested for impersonating a detective, and thereby obtaining from the landlord of the Masonic Hotel at St. Andrew's board and lodging and money. The accused who is charged also with forging a cheque, has been remanded tiil to-day.
