To-day is generally observed as a holiday as the anniversary day. The weather is fine with a strong breeze.
Delegates from Dunedin, Caversham, Mornington, Naseby. Waimate, and Wanganui, have arrived to attend the Fire Brigrade Conference, and others are expected to-morrow. The Conference meets on Monday.
