Mfssagk from the Sea.— I have just received from the hands of a gentleman living here a paper which wts found in a bottle lying on the West Coast, a few miles fiom the K.iip.u i Heads, and picked up by a Maori. "Nov. 2, 1873.— This bottl* was thiowu from the ship H.irkaway by one of her passengers, on Ins way from London to Sydney, in latitude about 4t : S. of the Equator, and longitude KM* E. All well on board, and expect a continuation of the prosperous voyage which they have had up to the present. If this bottle chance to drift ashore, the picker up will oblige by publishing in some newspaper that such was found, and when and wheie, also adding the words, • English, Irish, and Australian papers please copy,' if not found in any of tho-jO places. God speed the Haikaway, and send her safe to her destination."
