Kdranui HtllTributk. — Hart and party crushod 40 ton3 for 48oz. 17dwt. 12gr. ; and Newdick and party realised from 40 tons S.)oz. 15dwt. of melted gold. Middle Stab Tribute.— Brown and party obtained from 251b. of stone 3oz. lOdwt. of gold. Ntw M vnukau.— 8oz. lOdwt of gold were added to the return on the cleaning up of the berdans. Thomas McOuire, Lite of the 5Sth Regiment, and for a long while well known at the Thames, expired at the Hospital from injuries received from a fall on the Tapu Road. OOROMANDEL, Thursday. Bleak House. — Cat* lode to-day. The quartz is promising. Iona. — A small parcel of good specimens were bagged this morning. Union Beach — The diver went down the shaft about 2 p m., and after getting within 15ft. of the place necessary, the hose was found defective, and the diver was drawn to the bui face. The hose was then repaired, and the diver went down again, and succeeded in getting the chain nearly off. The rod's hook, however, got foul, and the diver then came up the shaft. He has ■ every confidence that he will be able to do what is required when he goes dowa again to-morrow. Tiki — McSweeney and party went for the purpose of having five acres of land belonging to Macintosh surveyed. It will be remembered that some rich gold waa obtained 3 short time ago, bat arrangements t« work the ground baa been delayed, as the parties could not agree. Conquering Hsro.— At a meeting held to-night, it was decided to get reports from competent persons as to where the shaft should be placed. A company will be incorporated in the course of a fortnight. Toxatia. — It is reported that first-class atone was got from the mine to-day in the Van level. At the meeting held last uight in th« school-room, £40 wu subscribed in the room, and a good sum was promised today. The committee believe they will be enabled to get a large amount of money subscribed in aid of Mrs. Keary and children.
