But I w 1 ite to let \ ou know that ovei twelvemonths ago 1 was mfoimed by one in the secret that everything was ready to go ou with the lailway — plans, specifications, &c, but the lailway would not l>e gone on with unless the people foioed it on lain told Mr.Stett ait, C.K , has a decided "down ' upon tins lailway, and ntvei lobes a chance to deny- it; but let me ask, is not Mr. Stewart the servant of the people, and what right has. he to obstruct the railway going on ? We pay oui taxes, and so pay his wages ; and by what right dots he ride loughshod o\er us in this way' It the tcndeis are not tailed for thi*> month, I would suggest to Mi.
