CRICKET.

FRIENDLY MATCH AT TE ARAL On the 23rd January a cricket match was to have been played between the Wbakapirau and Tomerata, but the former olub did not show up, consequently Mr. J. Haseldean and Mr. K. Brown chose their respective teams, and a very good game was played. The remainder of the evening was filled up with dancing and singing; Mrs. Sharp, of North Oruawharo, acting as musioian. Great credit is due to all the originators of the entertainment.
