R. Arthur reportt having realised the following prices at his sale of fruit ex ' Hero': Sydney oranges, 10a 3d to 11s 3d per case; lemom, 83; pears, 2£d to 3Jd per lb.; plums, l|d to 31 per lb. Pears and plums were in bad condition. M>. George Sibbin sold, to-day, at the corner mart, a quantity of tea, ex ' Wentworth,' slightly damaged, from Is 8d to 2a per lb., duty paid; sound Southern flour, £13 to £15 per ton ; ourranta, 4Jd per lb.; white potatoes, 2a (3d per cwt.; Hobart Town potatoes, 4s 6d per cwt.; oatmeal, 21s per cwt.; bran, Is 2d to Is Gd per buahel; Sydney maize, 5s GJ to 5s 7d per buahel ; loaf sugar, 5&d per lb.; onions, Id perlb.; cheese, 7d per lb. At Mr. B. Tonka'a aale of villa aitea in Ponsonby Road the following prices were realised :—Lot 8, 30s per foot ; lot 9, 30s per foot; lot 10, 31s per foot; lot 16, 10a per foot; lot 17, 9* per foot; lot 18, 6a per foot; lot 19, 8s 6d per foot; lot 20, Ga Gd per foot; lot 21, 6a 6d per foot. From 22 to 70 inclusive fetched prices varying from 5s Gd to 6s 9(1.
