SALE OF WASTE LANDS.

YtiTERI>a\ , at noon, a salo of Grown lands was held in the Waste Lands Office, the Commissioner of Crown Lands, Mr. A. D. Toll, acting as auctioneer. The lands offered for sale were chiefly situated in the Poverty Bay district. The total proceeds of the sale amounted to £675. The sale was fairly attended, but the bidding was not brisk, the gi eater number of the allotments being sold at their upset prices.
