An action for abusive language, and a crossaction arising out of it, occupied the PoIicp Court! several hours to-day. The principals were U. Lydi.ird aud W Kvans, two paintera notorious tor their frequent squabbles. Lydiard was bound over to keep the peace for three months. His cross-action fell through.
