Tlio Chairman stilted tho object of the meeting was to elect a school committee under the novr Act, and called upon those present to nominate Bint iblo persons to act; when tho following worn duly proposed, Beumded, nnd voted for with tho following remits :~\Ir.CiiBpG,40 ; Mr.J. Fmlay, senior, 22; Major Luuk, 15 ; Mi. James Finlay, 12 ; Mr. H. Criapo, 1 1 ; Mr. Morcer.9; Mr. Mowbray, 8 ; Mr. Clark o, 7. 'J'ho that iivo were tliercforo duly oleotod. Tho committee have now to meet and appoint thtir ohnirman.
