AOTEA: GALLANT RESCUE FROM A WATERY GRAVE.

Some 10 months ago your paper recorded the courage and presence of mind of Master Charles Gilmour in siving a child of Mr. Gage's from a watery grave. I have now to notice a second instance of the same kind of thia fine young lad'a pluck. The eldest son of Mr,. K. Nazer, storekeeper, a child about 10 years old, while playing at the Raglan landing-place, fell into the water, where it is about 14ffc. deep. No adult witnessed the accident ; but young Gilmour (14 or 15 years old) was equal to the occasion. When the drowning boy rose — some diatance from the bank, having been carried away by the tide, — Gilmour plunged in without hesitation, and fished him out in the mot t. nonchalant way imaginable before he .had suffered niuch from this-, immersion.— The , Rev.
