Drunkenness. — For this offence five persona we.c each fined in tho usual manner. Breach of Vagrant Act. — LukeMcDonald was again brought up on remand for a breach of the above Act. Sergeant Purdy stated that he had found the lad a situation at Whangaparoua. He was ordered to be sent to that place by tha tirab opportunity. Assault. — Joseph Couzens pleaded guilty to having violently assaulted his wife. He was ordered to fiud tsvo^surefcies of £25, and himself in £20, to keep the peace for six iaontb.3.
