Education.
| TTIGH SCHOOL, SYMONDS-STREET, J. M. FRASER, CERTIFICATED MASTER. SECOND QUARTER. As Mr. Fraser has, at considerable expense, success* fully reorganised this School, which is one of the most commodious and healthy in Auckland, ho would now, in soliciting further support, respectfully beg to snb* mit the following considerations :— His chief care is to study the improvement, comfort, and well-being of his pupils, as well as tho interest* and wishes of his patrons. His terms, therefore, are lower than those of any other Firßt-dass School in the city, viz,, 16s. and 20?. per quarter. Pupils are charged for only from date of enrolment. The number ol school holidays is entirely left to the decision of patrons. Arrangements will be made for warming tbe rooms during the winter months, The school apparatus is already very comprehensive, and will shortly be tbe mo;t complete in this Province. The method of teaching is modern, popular, and successful, while, by mere kindly firmness, lhe best Oi discipline is obtained. And the system of morals is purely non-sectarian, being wholly based upon the golden rule: Do unto others as you would others do unto you. N.B.—A visitors' book kept. Inspection cordially invited.
