Our sales have been — Caledonian, £19. £20. £20 10s; Thames, £5 ; Otaao, 25s ; Central Italy, 35s ; Cure, 255, 2Gs ; Kuby, 7s : Sous of Freedom, £12 10s ; Coromandel Excelsior, 7s 6d ; Scottys Hill, 2s. Sellers : New Zealand Loan Company shaics." Mr. Joseph Newman reports :: — *' The sharemarket has been very dull to-day, aud Caledonian ate again lower in prico. My sales compuse — Caledonian, £20, £19, £20, £20 10s, £21 ; Central Italy, 355 ; Ked Queen, 5s ; Otago, 25s ; John Bull, 6s 3d to Gs 5d ; Cure, 27s Gd ; Siege of Paris, 12s. Buyers : Caledonian, £20 Sellers : Thames, £5 ; Moauataiau, £4 17s Gd : Alburnia, £4 10d." Mr. J. M. Lennox reports : — "Business on the Exchange was rather quiet. Caledonian shares sold at a slight decline upon opening prices, and closed firm with buyers at £20. My sales comprise — Caledonian, £21, £20 10s, £20; Moauataiaii, £4 17s 6d ; Central Italy, £1 15s ; Excelsior, 7s ; Bismarck, £2 os. Closing buyers : Caledonian, £20 ; Thames, £5 ; Bismarck, £2 7s Gd ; All Nations, £3 17s 6d; Moanataiari, £4 15s. Sellers : Caledonian, £20 ; Thames, £5 53 j Moanataiari, £t 17s Gd ; Excelsior, Bs." Mr E.B. Robinsou reports : — "An inactive market to-day. 1 sold : Caledonians, £20 I 103, £10, aud £19 10s ; Inverness, 12s ; Red Queens, 5s ; Oriana, 4s Gd ; All Nations, 80s. Market closed with a good inquiry for Caledonians, buyers £20 ; Bismarcks, 47s Gd ; Siege of Pans, 12a j Inverness, 10s ; Oriaua, 4s Gd." Mr. Charles Burton reports :—": — " Market dull. Caledonian, £20, £19, closing at £21 ; Thames, £5 ; Central Italy, £1 15s ; Bismarck, £2 ss ; .Red Queen, 5s Gd ; John Bull, 6s Gd ; Moanataiari, £4 17s Gd ; Excelaior, 7s ; Albumin, £4= 10s." Messrs. Ward and Gollion report: — "The market has again been characterised during the week by excessive fluctuations in Caledonian sha> es. Our exchanges in this stock, including business done at the Thames, j show the following fluctuations :— £22, £21, £IS, £IG, £19, £18, £20, £22, £20 10s, £20 ; closing at £21 10s. And it may be noticed that at the Thames within seven days the extremes reached were £27 and £15. Our yesterday's sales were very trifling, sellers being unwilling to submit to any reductions in the first-class stocks." Mr. J, Tonson Garhck repoits : — "Sales this day— Moanataiari, £4 17s Gd ; Huby, 7s 6d ; Working Miners, 4s; Grceu Harp, £7 ; Thames, £5. Closing buyers : Caledonian, £20 ; John Bull, 6a 6d. Sellers : Caledonian, £21 ; Johu Bull, 75."
