TW'ORWICH UNION LIFE INSURANCE SOCIETY, Empowered by Special Acts of Parliament und by Royal Charter in the reign of Queen Anne, to underake all business connected with Lifo Assurance, IS A PURELY MUTUAL OFFICE. The Norwich Union Life Society has no distinct body of proprietors ; tho insurers at largo are tho recipients of tho savings of the institution : the premiums paid, being in fact only depositi, revort to thoso who contribute them. SETTLEMENT POLICIES. To meet one of the greatest want3 of tho day, tho Norwich Union issues Policies in tho nature of sottlements, whereby a man in solvont circumstances, provided the matter is bonft fide, may secur (without the bisk or Bankruptcy) a certain and direct pro vision for his family. RESOURCES. Irrespective or the immense annual revenue of this Society gradually and surely on the increase, it possesses a reserve fund of £2,300,000) and upwards, available for its requirements. RATES OP PREMIUM Are framed as low as aro consistent with the due safety of the Society, and its Actuary is calculated to be ono of the most competent authorities in England the Court of Chancory having recently had to avail themselves of his experience in these matters ; and although apparently higher than somo offices, assurers should not lose sight of the fact that they receivo it back either in bonuses or additions to sums assured, and,in electing toinsuroin this Society, they i also avail themselves of the experience and safety of a concoin that time hai proved to bo secure against all chancos. LOANS. Surrendor values aro]'givon for Policies of 3 years' standing, or loans granted on security of same. FOREIGN TRAVEL Permitted to all parts of the globe in properly decked vessels and in timo of peace. PARTICIPATION OP PROFITS.
