Mr, ChsrleB Bnrton reports :— " A more active market in general stocks. All Nations, £4 10s; buyers, £4 7s 6d. Tokatea, 37s Gd ; Pride of Tokatea, 63 6d to 7s ; Green Harp, £6 6a ; John Bull, 3s ; Bismarck, Bs, buyers 7a ; Cures, 83, closing buyers 9s : Thames, buyers, £5 : Caledonian, £14." Mr. J. M. Lennox reports :— "The sharemarket is quiet. My sales comprise — Tokatea, £1 18s to £2 ; Otago, 15s 6d. Caledonians are offering at £14 lss; Thames, £5 7s 6d ; Green Harp, £5 158; All Nations, £4 10s. Buyers : Caledonian, £14 ; Thames, £5 5s 1 Bismarck, 7s ; Cures, 8s 6d j Moanataiari, £2 12^Gd." Mr. J. Newman reports: -"The sharemarket has been dull to-day ; and Green Harps, Cures, and Caledonians somewhat lower. My sales comprise— Caledonian, £14 103 j sellers, £14 10s. Thames, £5 6s ; buyers, £5 ss. All Nations, £4 10a; Alburnia, £3 103. Cures, 8s 6d; buyers, 8s 6d. Windsor Castle, 7s. Sellers : Green Harp,£6. Buyers ; Moanataiari, £2 12s Gd." Mr. E. B. Robinson reports :— "A very weak market. I sold— Caledonians, £14 : Cures, Bs, 9-< 6d. Sellers : All Nations, 90s j Calf, 60s ; Pride of Tokatea, 7s ; Green Harp, £C ; John Bull, 3s ; Red Queen, 35." Mr. S. Hague Smith reports:— "A fair amount of business done to-day. Thames, £1 4s ; Tokatea, 38s : Cnre, 8s 6d, Bs, 9s 6d ; Pride of Tokatea, 6s 9d j John Bull, large paacel, 2s 9d. Caledonian offered at £14 ss, and Alburnia £3 10s, Buyers : Caledonian, £14 ; Thames, £5 5s ; Moanataiari, £2 10s ; Tookey, £8 10s. Sellers : Tookey, £9 ; Pride of T katea, 75." Mr. Sauuders reports : — "Sales this day : Moanataiari, 52a Gd and 555, in demand at 52s Gd, few offering ; Bismarck, 6s 6d, 7a, and 7s Gd; John Bull, 2s 9d, 3s; Cure, 8s 3d and 8s ; Italian, 3s ; Tokatea, 40s. Buyers Moanataiari, current rates ; Gas, Bank, and Sash and Door shares." Mr. W. J. Hunt reports :—" Considerable demand for Coromandel stock to-day. Bismarck, 7s and 83 ; Peep of Day, 2s 6d ; Conquering Hero, 2s ; Green Harp, £6 5s ; John Bull, 3s. Closing sellers : Caledonians, £14 10s ; Thames, £5 5a ; John Ball, 3s Gd."
