A chiof cabin passage, free of cost either for pssuge or i victualling, to be provided when required for an officer of the Post-office Department. A proper and secure room to be provided for the mails, and all mails to bounded and shipped by and at the expense of the contractor. The^ayi and hours of arrival and departure at and from tho various ports to be flxodby the Postmaster- ; General, who shall also have the power of detaining the vessels if necessary for forty-eight hours after the days fixed for their departure from the Manukau without charge. For any otber detention the rate of demurrage per hour to be stated. The service to commence at Plcton on 14th April next.
