POLICE COURT.— Saturday. [Before Thomas Beckham, Esq., R. M.]

Drunkenness. — George Short and Edward Wells, for the abovo offence, were each fined in the uaual manner. Obscene Language 1 , — Robert Abbott was charged with usiug obscene language in a public street.— Fined 405., or to bo imprisoned 21 days.

Larcbnv as a Bailee. — Thomas > H. Pearson was charged by Charles Madden with unlawfully appropriating to his own use £17 103., for which he was bailee. — Adjourned till Monday, bail allowed — himself in £200, aud two sureties of £100 each.

FoimiNG and Uttering.— George Bull alias W. Williams was brought up charged by J. C. Morrin with having uttered a cheque for £15 17s. 7d., knowing the same to be forged. This case and two others of similar nature against the prisoner were adjourned till Monday.
