Mails for the undermentioned places, per p.s. Nebraska, will close at this office on Thuriday, sth October, as follow :— For Sandwich Islands, British Columbia, United States of America, British, Central, and South America, British *nd Foreign West Indies, and Continent of Europe via England, at 10.30 a.m For United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at 10.30 a.m. Fofcunoney orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 9 a m. Lateletters for the United States of America and United Kingdom, bearing a late fee of 6d. in addition to the postage, will be received at this this office till 11 a m., and by the mail agent on board the steamer up to time of sailing. ' Sotk.— lt is notified for general information that.f rom and after 6th October proximo, the colour of the onepenny, twopenny, and sixpenny postage labeU issued by this department will be: Id,, brown ; 2d., red ; Cd , blue.
