Cleared Outwards. — January 27. Moa, brig, 236 tons, Robertson, for Starbuck Island. Passengers — Captain Brinsden, Messrs. Jackson, Gale. — Combes and Daldy, agents.

H.M.B. Virago called at Tologa Bay on Tuesday last. The ship Timaru for London, and the barque Santiago for Napier, both sailed yesterday. The brig Moa cleared at the Customs yesterday, and will sail to-day for Starbuck Ishnd. The schooner Tawera, from Poverty Bay, arrived in harbour yesterday afternoon, with a cargo of — 276 bags grass-seed, order ; 69 boxes apples, 21 boxes plums, 12 bags grassneed, order ; 91 boxes apples, J. S. Mu3farlane; 42£ bales wool, Brown, Campbell, and Co. Yesterday the pump of the ship City of Auckland finished pumping the water out of the ship, and the landing of the cargo was commenced. It was found that, with the exception of the charring of the upper deck »nd the injury done \>y fee boies cut m them and in the vessel's side, very little damage had been done. < n the discharge of the cargo, the necessary repairs will be at once proceeded with.
