CHARGE OF PEEJURY.

The charge of perjury arising oub of xhe case of Offord v. Williams and Yon -iturmer will be heard at the Police Court this morning. A large number of witnesses have been suninioned, and the case will probably occupy some time in adjudication. The natives against whom the charge is laid are Hoani iVliti, the infuriner, and Hemi Tiki, a witness who lived at Brycr's public-house at Hokianga. TJieso natives it will be remembered, swore to having bought grog from Mr. Offord ; and the latter, as soon as the jury by their verdict exonerated him from the charge of selling the grog, laid an information tor perjury against the natives.
