riIENDERS will be received at the General 1 Post-office, Wellington, until the 15th January, 1871, for the performance of the undermentioned Jionthly .Steam Mail Services, for a period of One Year from the 16th February next, determinable on three months' notice being given on oither side : — No. 1 - From Manukau to New Plymouth, calling at Raglan and "Waitara, and back by same route. No. 2— From Opunaki to Patea, "Whanganvi, Rangatik«i, Manawatu, und Wellington, and back by tbe same route. 2So. 3— From Auckland to Tanranga and Opotikl, and back by the same route. No, 4— From Napier to Turanganui and Hicks's Bay cilling at W*iroa, weather permitting, and by the tame rout j. The services to be so arranged that each port mentioned shall ue visited twice monthly. Tho names, tonnage, and horso-power of the vessels proposed to b» employed in these services to bo stated, and tho veswh to be approved by the P-istmaster-General, und subject to be surveyed by some person appointed by him, whenever he may consider it necessary.
