POLICE COURT.— Wednesday. [Before James Naughton, Esq., and R. F. Porter, Esq,. J.P.s.]
Drunkenness. — JKichard McGregor was fined for a first offence. Drunk and Disorderly. — Anthony E. Cowen, for drunkenness and disorderly conduct, was lined 20s. and costs, and was sentenced to two months' imprisonment for a breach of the Vagrant Act, 1866. Stray Cows. — For permitting two cows to stray on the 14th instant, fSarah Leopard was mulcted in the sum of ss. and costs. Non-payment of CirY Rates. —William Walters failed to appear in answer to a summons for i 5 12s. 6d., city rates.— J. W. Dicldams, Collector, placed the necessary evidence before the Bench. — Ordered to pay with, coats. —An action against Peter McCarthy, to recover £1 6a., rates, was, on the application of Mr. MacGregor (for defendant), adjourned till Saturday.
