Lalla Rookh, this day, *t 9 a m For OpotM, per Opotiki, this day, at 9.80 a.m. For Newcastle (N.S.W.), per Amateur, to-dar, «t 9.30 a.m. For Whanganui, Weitport, and Greymouth, per St. Kildu, this day, at noon. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Whanganui station will be received at toil office till 12 30, and at Onehunga till 1.30 p.m. For Tahiti, per Edith, this day, 17th instant, at 3 p.m. Mails for the undermentioned places, per a.*. City of Melbourne, will close at this office six hours after the arrival of that steamer from Honolulu, as under:— For Sydney and the Australian Colonies, India, China, Mauritius, Mediterranean Forts, Continent of Europe, United Kingdom (via Brindisi and Marseilles), and United Kingdom (via Suez and Southampton)—for letters specially to addressed For Taranaki and the Southern provinces, per s.s. Airedale,itnmediately after the arrival of the City of Melbourne from Honolulu. For Taranaki and the Southern province*, per s i. Taranaki, ou Monday, 19th, »t 3p m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson station will be roceived at this office till 3.30 p.m., and at Onebunga till 4.30 p.m. For Taranaki and the Bouthern provinces, per s s. Phoabe, on Tuesday, at 10 a.m. Late letters and telegrams for transmission from the Nelson station will be received till 10.30 a.m., and at Onehunga till 11 30 a m. For Tuuranga and Opotiki, per Samson, on Tuesday, at 1.30 p.m. S. B. BISS, Chief Postmaster.
