BANKRUPTCY MATTERS.
Mb. Jambs Butler Stoney has become pro. visional trustee in the bankrupt estate of John Leydon, auctioneer, Shortland. — Samuel Vaile and John Rippon Vaile, linendrapers, Auckland, have made a deed of arrangement on behalf of their several creditors, whereby they covenant to pay a certain " composition to all their creditors." — A second meeting of the creditors of G-eo-ge Miller Cameron was held yesterday. The liabilities in the estate were 415?. 3s. 7d., and assets 146?. 13s. lOd. The estate became vested in the Provisional Trustea — \ first meeting in the estate of George Loverock, master mariner, Auckland, was called, but no creditors attended. Theliabilities were 286?, 2s. 93.., and assets 34?. 15s. Adjourned for a week. — A second meeting in the estate for William Hume was called : liabilities, 195?. 4s. j assets, 54?., nominal The estate became vested in the Provisional Trustee. — John Shearer, mariner, Auckland, has been adjudged a bankrupt/ and tne first meeting of his creditors fixed for the 10th instant.
