IN exercise of the powers vested in me in that behalf by " The Slaughter-house Act, 1866," of the Superintendent aud Provincial Council of the Province of Auckland, I,Thomasßannatt:ne Gillies, the said Superintendent, do hereby proclaim and declare that the provisions of Section 8, of "The Slaughter-house Act, 1866," aforesaid, are extended to the Town of Gbahamstown, the boundaries of which are as follows : Commencing at a point on the proper right bank of the Karaka Creek, near Vickery s Machine ; thence Northerly by lines 2,600 links or thereabouts ; thence Westerly by lines 780 links ; thence Southerly by lines 822 Jinks ; thence in a Northerly direction along the foot of the range 4,310 Jinks ; thence to the sea beach "Westerly 623 links • thence by the sea beach ordinary high water mark to the mouth of the Karaka Creek ; thence up the right hand bank of the Karaka Creek to the commencing point, all (lißtances being approximate, Given at Auckland under my hand, and the Public Seal of the Province, this ninth day of June, in the year of our Lord, One thousand eight Vandre^ &n4 seventy. s"jie>MAß B, GILWES, Superintendent.
