A schooner inside Tiritiri was signalled during yesterday, but up to a late hour lasfc night she had not arrived in harbour. The Comer a ng. — The p.s. Comerang, Capt. Chrisp, arrived from Poverty Bay via Thames last evening. During the passage to the Thames she experienced strong N. W. •wind with high confused seas. Passed the East Cape at 8 p.m., and Mercury Island at 10 p.m. on Tuesday, arriving at the Thames at 6 a.m. yesterday, sind in this harbour last evening. Her cargo of sheep and cattle has arrived in excellent condition. She leaves for Napier to-day. The Bella Mary, barque, was lying at Russell weather-bound when the s.s. Tauranga left. The s.s. Tauranga, from Russell, brought a cargo of 17 tons of gum, 5 tons flax, 8 barrels oil, and sundries. The schooner Jane with 60 tons coal, and cutter Maud with 50 tons coal, left Kussell for thia port on Tuesday last. The particulars of the wreck of the schooner Champion have been received. She was capsized on the Shoalwater Bay bar. Th6se on board got into the yawl-boat, which was swamped, and all were lost except the Indian boy, who had lashed himself to the bottom of the boat. — Alta California,
