May 1. Stormbird,s.s. } Doile, from Southern ports. Passengers— Mr. and Mrs. Kemiey and child, Mr. and Mrs. Williamson and child, Captain McDonnell, Messrs. Levy, Gill, Tories, Smith, Allen, Nicholas, and three in steerage. — Combes and Daldy, agents. Eangatira, s.s., Keuner, from Southern poits. Passengers — Mr. and Mrs. Eastwood, Messrs. DeWolf, Stock, Beauchanair, and 14 in the steerage. — Combes and Daldv, agents.

Imports.— Apkil 30. Per s.B. Keera, from Whangaimi : 1,300 sheep, 13 pigs, Carey, Gilles, Huuter, and Co. ; 35 kegs butter, L. W. Eaton.

ARRIVAL OF THE STORMBIRD. The N.Z. Company's s.s. Stormbird, Captain Doile, arrived in the Manukau yesterday from Southern ports. She brings a general cargo and several passengers. (Japtaid Doile reports having left Wellington on the 23rd at 11 a.m., arriving at Picton at 5 pm. same day ; left Picton again on the 24th, at 2 a.m., and arrived at Nelson on the 25th, at 7 a.m.; sailed from Kelson same day at 3 p.m., arriving at Whanganui on the 27th, at 10 a.m.; left again on the 29th, at 9 a.m., arriving at Taranaki on the 30th, at 10 a.m.; sailed again same afternooon at 4, and arrived in the Manukau at 1.30 p.m. yesterday. During the passage experienced rough -weather. We are indebted to the purser (Mr. Curtis) for file's of Southern papers.

ARRIVAL OF THE RANUATIRA. _ The ss. Rangatira, Captain Renner, arrived in the Manukau at 2 p.m. yesterday from the South. The Rangatira brings a full cargo and several passengers. Captain Renner informs us that he left Port Chalmers at G p.m. on the 23rd ultimo, arriving at Lyttelton at 8 p.m. on the 24th ; sailed again on the 25th, at 4 p.m., arriving at Wellington at noon on the 26th ; left Wellington at 7 p.m. on the 28th, arming at Picton same day ; sailed again at 8 p.m., I arriving at "Nehon at 7 a.m. on the 29th, and left again same day at 7 p.m., arriving as above. Experienced fine weather from Port Chalmcis to Nelson ; Thence, stiong N.W. -winds, with heavy seas. We have to tliank the purser for our Southern files.

ARRIVAL OF THE KEEKA. The favourite cattle s.s. Keera, Captain J, Bain, arrived in the Manukau on Saturday morning last, from Wlianganui, with a cargo of sheep and cattle, which sho landed in an excellent condition. Captain Bain reports having left Whanganui at 9J 5 ,i,m. on Thursday, wind N.E. light and fine weather ; 9 p.m , fresh breeze and sea rising ; 3 a m , very heavy sea and blowing hard, wind unsettled, fust on one quaiter, then suddenly flying round to the other. Arrived at the Manukau at 2 a.m. oil Saturday. The Keera was detained in Wlianganui for four days owing to the tempestuous state of the weather ; also the John Perm, Wallaby, Wanganui, and Stormbird.
