PROVINCIAL LUNATIC ASFLUM.
THE MINISTERIAL MEMORANDA. To the Editor of the Daily Southern Cross. Sir, — I have read with interest the memorandum by the Honourable W. G-isborne, and also Mr. Fox, and heartily wish the information could be diffused throughout England. It ten or twenty put down their names for 10d. each, either as a subscription or a guarantee fund, a cheap pamphlet could be published and sold, thus offering to the public the nieans through the penny po^t of transmitting a very able vindication, of our political position. — I am. &c, J. To the Editor of the Duly Southern CrosB. Deah Sib,—Permit me to state that an error as to time occurred in your notice of the case of William Wetlierall, in this morning's Cross. This young man was admitted into the Asylum on the 24th November, 1869. He was more than three months under treatment, before any decided improvement becam,e manifest. He was discharged on the 4th April, in good mental aiul bodily health. —l am, &c, Thomas Aicken, M.D., Resident Surgeon, April 6, 1870.
