GOLDFIELDS "REWARD COMMISSION.—Tuesday.

The Commissioners met at 10 o'clock. CIAIM OF PINTHA. MA.RUTUAHU. — The further hearing of this case was resumed. — Mr. A. B. Campbell, Auckland, appeared on behalf of claimant. —Mr. lvobert Graham was called as a witness on behalf of claimant, and deposed that he had visited the Thames district in IS3G, and was shown by a halfcaste, named Joseph Cook, a small sample of gold and quartz which had been taken out of one of the creeks (he believed the Karaka), on the land belonging to the Ngatimaru tribe.— This case is not concluded, as Mr. Mackay is to give evidence respecting it.

Ho ! applied foy a postponement of the case until ! Monday next.— The Commissioners granted the application. Claim op Thomas Kevkx —Claimant attended, and produced a letter from Mr. Tnrton, formerly Commissioner of Crown Lands, to the effect that payable gold had been on K even's reef, Coromandel, before the field was pioclaimed. — This concluded this case. The Commissioners adjourned until 10 o'clock next morning. ,
