Mails for the undermentioned places will doso as follow :— For Shortland and Coromandel, this day, at 11.30 a.m. and 5.30 p.m. For Whad'garei, &c, per Kate Grant this day, at 4 p. in. For Taranaki, Whan-ianm, aDd Wellington, per s.s. Ahuriri, to-morrow, at 10 a.m. For Whanganui and the West Coast, per s.s. John Perm, on Saturday, at 10 a.m. Mails per s.s. Wonga Wonga will close on Saturday, 2nd of April, as under :— For Sandwich Islands, United States of America, Canada, West Indies. South America, &c, at 12.30 p.m. For the United Kingdom, via San Francisco, at lpm. For money orders, registered letters, and newspapers, at 11 a. m. Late letters for the United Kingdom (bearing a fee of 6d. in addition to the postage) will be received till 1.30 p.m.
Note.— The rates of postage chargeable on letters sent via San Francisco are the same us those on letters sent via Suez. S. B. BISS, Chief Postmaster.
